Accommodations
Our first step in developing Rancho Jixhil ("heeshEEL") is offering the "molino" (millhouse) for rent to travelers who want something different--not the usual American tourist experience. The old mill house, built in 1870, is a two-story building originally used to mill grain but upgraded in the 1980s with a simple but modern bathroom. At present the molino can sleep four comfortably (one king size bed upstairs and two single beds downstairs).
On a temporary basis during this development phase we will be offering dormitory style accommodations in the house.
We can offer meals, served family style--everybody seated around a big dining room table. Meals are mostly simple but delicious local dishes.
